When you sponsor a child through Daisy’s Children your dollars are spent directly on the nutritional and educational needs of your child. What does that mean? It means that your funds are channeled into a designated fund and then transferred to the Evangelical and Reform Church in the village of Concepcion del Norte, Honduras. Maria Elena Paz will then see that nutritional foods and educational supplies are purchased and distributed as needed. Will I be the only sponsor for this child? Not necessarily. If you pledge at the level of a friend or partner you may indeed share the sponsorship with one or two others. If you elect to pledge at the level of a family sponsor, you will support the nutritional and clean water needs of an entire sponsored family. Friend: $25 a month Partner: $50 a month Family of three sponsorship: $100 a month Family of five or more sponsorship: $200 a month Will I receive any information or follow-up communication regarding my sponsor child? We initially will post updates as provided through our on the ground volunteers in Honduras via our website. We will strive to forward you personal information regarding the child matched with your gift. You may correspond with the families as they permit. Most of our initial intake children may be of preschool age so communication will most likely be via Maria Elena, email, and our website.
