 Ten Volunteers will step out of their comfort zone and into the reality of life for many! They will join Daisy’s director, Sharon Beckwith, and chair Amanda French for 8 days! The first service team will meet Sharon & Amanda at the airport in San Pedro Sula on July 6th and work with them through July 14th. these ten individuals come bearing the following skills: huggers, painters, sewers, jewelry makers, bilingual speakers, spacklers, concrete workers, soccer players, playground builders. The primary focus of this group will be to prepare the newly rented property in the village of Concepcion del Norte to become a Guaderia- ‘Los Angelitos’ de Deysi. This center will provide childcare, nutritious meals, health care, etc. to the youngest of the program enabling moms to work, reenter school, or join one of our vocational programs all at no charge to the poorest of families.
